In our previous lists, we introduced all the Michelin Starred Restaurants in Central Croatia, Istria and the Kvarner region. Every single restaurant had something special to offer in the way of culinary innovation while keeping in with Croatian tradition. Now it's time to move towards our final region. We will be going through the region of Dalmatia. Each location touts Michelin Starred Restaurants that are prime examples of Mediterranean cuisine in Croatia.
The last region we will visit on this list is also the region with the most Michelin Starred restaurants in Croatia. The Dalmatia Region has a total of 4 different Michelin Starred restaurants all spread out through its shores and various islands.
The first is a one Michelin Star restaurant called Pelegrini. This fine establishment is located in the city of Šibenik, a small coastal town with beautiful architecture. Right beside the UNESCO-listed St. James Cathedral in Šibenik, the restaurant provides a blend of history and gastronomy.
Pelegrini serves up Dalmatian-inspired dishes that honor traditional recipes with a modern flair.
Its seasonal menus feature locally sourced seafood and produce, served in a historic setting that really brings the visitor back to a time long gone.
Next up is our first restaurant that is located on one of Croatia's many beautiful islands. The LD Restaurant is comfortably situated on the island of Korčula. Its island location offers up a truly serene dining atmosphere. This one starred Michelin restaurant serves up Mediterranean dishes with a focus on fresh, local ingredients from the island of Korčula. They pride themselves that basically everything served in their establishment is from the island. Their recipes are creative interpretations of island specialties, paired with regional wines. Our next restaurant is in a city known all around the world, Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik is a beautiful coastal city in southern Croatia. It is known for its historic Old Town, stone walls, and stunning sea views.
The city's cuisine is rich and varied, with fresh seafood, local meats, and traditional dishes like black risotto and octopus salad. You can also find modern restaurants offering creative twists on Mediterranean food. Whether you love street food or fine dining, Dubrovnik has something for every taste. The 360º is a one-star Michelin restaurant that is built into Dubrovnik's ancient city walls, providing diners with panoramic views of the old town and harbor.
Its innovative Mediterranean cuisine combines local flavors with international influences. That combined with the view makes 360º a true one of a kind experience for both food lovers and people who just want to enjoy the vibes of Dubrovnik’s ancient history. The tasting menus change seasonally and feature meticulously crafted dishes.
Our final stop is Boškinac which has been awarded one Michelin star. This quaint restaurant is located on Pag Island, in the town of Novalja. Situated amidst vineyards and olive groves, Boškinac offers a rustic yet refined dining experience. The restaurant proudly presents creative dishes that highlight the island's unique ingredients, including lamb and cheese.
Yet another perfect example of a fusion of traditional island flavors with modern culinary techniques.
